Dave Olsen, main man for the Canucks Outsider and Choogle On w/ Uncle Weed podcasts, appears to have some problems with the technical end of his podcasting capabilities. He posted this on the new home for the Canucks Outsider podcast, hockeynw.com.
Just a noe to say that my intrepid little laptop (leon) has lost grasp on reality and slipped into oblivion with two almost-finished podcasts abord plus myriad future content in progress. Yikes! I am at Appletex in North Van for rescue operation so wish me luck. [post]
I was beginning to wonder if all was well in DaveO-world. Wish him a quick recovery and just passing along the info. Hope he gets things back up and running soon!

Thanks for keeping an eye on me John! Indeed problems abounding but i am sorting them out.
The typos in the post were due to a harried entry using an ancient Mac at a repair shop while the nice man was telling me my beloved laptop (Leon) was DOA. I left the beast there while me and the lady headed to Utah for a few days of spontaneous family emergency roadtrip (also gave away my beloved VW bus) while the Apple dude moved the harddrive to a 400MHz G3 tower (‘borrowed’ from Kris Krug – hey man thanks!).
I picked the new beast up and bought a crappy $50 used monitor which fills my entire desk. It is large and slow and i am trying to practice patience. Tomorrow i shall attempt to catch up with belated shows and some new commentary on the second round.

PS Go ‘Canes! Remember they weren’t always southern, they were hijacked from Hartford.
PPS Cinco de Mayo is the day i met my woman 5 years ago. We’re going for Greek food rather than Mexican tonight though.
