I have a 10.3.9 Mac OSX. Recently, I have lost Safari as I cannot download a new version with this 10.3.9. I have also lost hundreds of photos on iPhoto. Since then, I have started to put photos in the Photo Library again, however, I am worried these too, will disappear.

Also, on my Mac Mail.... my "Send" messages came up with an error message saying they were not downloaded from the server so I could not read them. I tried to fix that and in doing so, pushed "Rebuild" and the whole Sent folder disappeared.

I was told at the Mac stores I needed to get a new computer. Why could I not just update to Leopard?

Does anyone have an answer?

many thanks,

The new MacBook Pros? The ones that come with a mirror in place of the screen?
Do yourself a favor. Get the 17" with non gloss screen. You'll thank me later.
