It's an amazing design and a great concept that they are starting with. I mean, true that this is a new market that they are dipping into. However, recall the first iPods that came out.

Let's face it. Those things sucked hard. The concept didn't though. They got better storage, better battery life, and better features. I see this cycle starting up for the iPhone, be it whatever variations and models they put out.

The other feature that I forgot to mention above? Can I still put this thing in my back pocket and sit on it without worry? That's uber important.

I've got a Nokia 5500 sport and it has all that you mention. OK...so I had to buy the 1g card for storage...but that is the only difference. A 2 meg pixel camera is nothing...it sucks.

I just don't buy the apply hype. Compelling designs, yes. New and innovation?? No. The iPhone is the same thing that is already out there...just in the apple package to satisfy those that have drank the kool-aid to go out and buy this too.

Apple will find it difficult to compete in the cut-throat mobile phone market dominated by Samsung, Nokia and Motorola. Best of luck to them
